The outdoor games are in the backyard storage and the garage. Please pack each game back into its bag when you’re done.

Mölkky

A Finnish throwing game for any number of players.

1. Stand the 12 numbered pins in a tight group, numbers facing you, and step back 10 to 12 feet.
2. Take turns throwing the plain pin underhand at the group.
3. Knock over one pin and you score its number. Knock over several and you score how many fell.
4. Stand fallen pins up where they landed.
5. First to exactly 50 wins. Go over 50 and you drop back to 25. Miss three turns in a row and you’re out.

Giant Connect 4

1. Pick a color. Take turns dropping one disc into any column.
2. Four in a row wins: across, up, or diagonal.
3. Slide the bar at the bottom to let the discs drop out.

Tumble tower

Best on flat, level ground.

1. Build the tower: three blocks per layer, each layer crossways to the one below.
2. On your turn, use one hand to push or pull out a block, and place it on top.
3. Whoever makes the tower fall loses.
